Boneless Tenderloin of Pork
Just the eye of the Pork Loin. Fresh-Boneless Excellent for the large of small family.

Crown Roast of Pork
(Stuffed or Unstuffed)
A real Holiday treat !  Rib Pork Chops frenched to remove the bone and fat
with the exception of the tiny rib bone, that you take in your fingers.
A minimum of 14 chops to make the crown.  The crown is stuffed with our
delicious stuffing. (Apple Cinnamon or bread and sausage).  It comes in its own pan with complete cooking instructions.
"Storks Own" Sauerbraten
Our own ready to cook boneless rump of eye round of beef that has been marinated
to perfection.  Comes with our brine for your gravy and complete cooking instructions.

History of Storks Prime Meats of Babylon

    Stork's Prime Meats has an over 100 year history in the butcher business. Located at 27 John Street, Babylon, NY, it is owned and operated by Peter and Terrie Stork and their son, Peter Jr.
    Peter's great-grandfather, Alfred Stork, immigrated to America from Germany in the late 1870's. The butcher business in Germany was a very revered occupation, so that was what Alfred intended to do once he was in America. He worked hard and learned the butcher business as an apprentice and then later opened his first store in Maspeth, Queens. One of his sons, Joseph, opened his first store in Queens Village on Jamaica Avenue. And in 1952, following in their father's footsteps, two of Joseph's sons, Frank (Peter's father) and Al, then opened their own butcher business, which was located in the old Fischel building on Main Street in Babylon.
     The shop thrived on Main Street until a devastating fire broke out in October of 1972, destroying the entire building where Stork's and many other businesses were located. Through much perseverance and determination, within 10 months of the fire, "Stork's Prime Meats of Babylon" rebuilt and reopened at 27 John Street, where it is still located today.
     We at Stork's have always taken great pride in putting our customers before all else. We are now not only a butcher shop but also a gourmet food store. Throughout the years, we have strived to meet the needs of all of our customers. A visit to our unique and friendly market will be a pleasant and worthwhile experience.
